This Dutton is a three-piece loose-ring snaffle with twisted sweet-iron bars and a copper-wrapped dog-bone center. The twisted mouthpiece provides increased feel and definition, while the jointed center allows independent movement on each side. Large loose rings encourage mobility and help prevent the horse from leaning on the bit.
